RLCS 2026 World Championship Preview
The biggest event in Rocket League brings together 16 teams across four regions. Here’s our comprehensive preview of the field, format, and where the smart money lies.
Format
- Group Stage: 4 groups of 4, double round-robin BO3
- Swiss Stage: Top 3 per group enter a 12-team Swiss bracket
- Playoffs: Top 8 advance to double-elimination bracket
- Grand Final: BO7
Regional Strength Assessment
Europe (RLCS EU) — The dominant region for the third consecutive year. EU teams have won 7 of the last 9 World Championships. The current EU field is headlined by Karmine Corp, Guild, and Vitality.
North America — G2 Stride and NRG are both capable of winning, but NA teams have underperformed their odds at Worlds historically. Slight fade versus implied probability.
South America — Furia and LOUD have been the most improved regions over the past two years. LOUD in particular showed at Major 2 that they can beat EU teams in best-of-five formats.
Asia-Pacific — Still developing. APAC teams are worth backing against NA but remain at a disadvantage against top EU.

Our Pick
Guild Esports at 6.50 — Their championship pedigree and systematic preparation make them the best risk-adjusted pick. The market slightly overvalues Karmine Corp’s individual brilliance versus Guild’s structural consistency.
